Locals call this hard-hitting, fast moving, chrome marauder, the "Tarpon of the North". Migrating in schools up river all through the summer, sheefish provide fast and furious action for the spin cast, or fly fishing enthusiast. And the taste; sheefish possess a very tasty, white flaky meat making a great meal. The largest sheefish we've caught out of the area was 45 pounds.
