Louisiana Duck Hunting

Cajun Waterfowl Adventures, located in the heart of Cajun Country amidst the bayous, swamps and waterways of South Louisiana, offers the best in southern hospitality, lodging, southern cooking and waterfowl hunting.

This section of South Louisiana boasts the finest and most impressive variety of birds in North America. Among the assorted species available there are Mallards, Pintails, Widgeons, Gadwalls, Green Wing Teal, Blue Wing Teal and Wood Duck. Large and elaborate decoy spreads allow guests to observe and harvest several species of wild ducks. Our blinds are spacious, dry, heated and very comfortable.

Southern hospitality is a prerequisite as our guests are pampered and made to feel safe and secure in accommodations, which are comfortable with air conditioning and heat throughout. Semi-private rooms are provided. We offer the finest in homestyle country and Cajun cuisine. Breakfast includes eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, grits and “homemade” country biscuits. Seafood such as shrimp, oysters, fish, crawfish etoufee and jambalaya will tempt your tastebuds, as well as “down home” country cooking including southern fired chicken, steaks and all of the trimmings.

Redfish and Speckled Trout fishing trips may be booked along with your waterfowl trip. Each afternoon, guests may fish with highly experienced Cajun guides to add yet another wonderful dimension to your experience with Cajun Waterfowl Adventures.

After flying into the New Orleans, Louisiana airport, you will then drive approximately 60 miles to Buras, LA where the Cajun Waterfowl Adventures lodge is located. This is where you will experience a true Cajun duck hunting and fishing adventure.

Reservations are booked on a “first-come, first-serve” basis and are confirmed only when your deposits are received by our office. Deposits are non-refundable. The balance of your hunting fee is due and payable 60 days prior to your trip.
